The Learning Center

Philosophy

The philosophy of Spring of Water Christian Learning Center (SOWCLC) is based on a God-centered view that all truth is God's truth, and that the Bible is the inspired, infallible, authoritative, Word of God that contains this truth. Children are a gift from God. They are to be shaped and modeled and taught the Word of God to develop them intellectually, academically, physically, psychologically, socially and spiritually. Children are precious in God's sight. "Let the little children come to Me, and do not hinder them for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these." (Matthew 19:14) Developing the whole child takes time and attention. We are committed to this endeavor by providing the highest standard of early childhood education.

Mission Statement

The Mission of Spring of Water Christian Learning Center is to facilitate the development of children academically, physically, psychologically, socially and spiritually. We do this by providing quality Christian education and care, and by bringing the inerrant Word of God to children and their families. In addition we co-labor with the parents that we serve to develop the whole child for the glory of God.

Curriculum

Like hundreds of Christian Schools around the nation, Spring of Water Christian Learning Center uses the very successful 'Abeka Curriculum' as our primary curriculum for providing a well-balanced Christian based Earl} Childhood Education Program for our students.

The Abeka Curriculum is prepared by Christian teachers and Administrators and contains day-by-day lesson plans for an entire year. The curriculum is designed to keep learning lively, fun, interesting and memorable.
